Every single one of our products is made by hand in our small studio
using all natural wax and eco-friendly, non-toxic fragrances.
Why Soy Wax?
Our candles are made with natural soy wax. Unlike paraffin, this natural wax is biodegradable, and cleans up with soap & water. Soy wax has a lower melting point, which gives candles a slower, longer burn for lasting scent! Our candles are clean burning with almost zero soot.
Reusable Containers
When choosing the vessels we wanted to use for our candles, we knew we wanted them to be something you could repurpose in your home. Using soy for candles makes the container easier to clean after the candle is done, creating a reusable container!
Premium Fragrance Oils
At Oak Street Candles, we only use premium fragrance oils that are free from carcinogens, phthalates, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance.
Our Story
Like many others, we love candles! And while candles are great for creating a calm ambience and lovely scents - we worried greatly about their potential toxic effects on our pets (rarely can you find the actual ingredients used on store bought candles!). So we began a quest to create a more natural, clean burning candle using only the finest products available.
All of our candles are hand poured in small batches using 100% American grown soy wax, wood or all cotton wicks that are lead free, and poured in reusable and recycled glass jars, using chemical free, non-toxic fragrance oils.
